Job Description:
Acting as subject matter expert for the applications and solutions in the EDI and business-to-business integration space
Architecting and designing solutions to business, information and technical requirements to achieve critical business objectives
Providing design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy
Assisting in identification and definition of non-functional requirements, Technical Architecture and Solution Design Documents
Providing leadership, guidance and assistance in developing enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features
Advise and approve on solution, test strategy and scope
Providing expertise and advice regarding the integration of applications across the business
Researching and applying knowledge of emerging technologies and possible application to the business
Ensuring solutions compliance with defined development and documentation standards.
Working with enterprise and solution architects as well as application and infrastructure team to produce optimal design for each project
Create, document, communicate, and govern best practices for enterprise B2B/EDI environment
Assist in design, development, maintenance and operation (as necessary) of all solutions and workflow tools used within EDI Integrations Area
Leads and guides cross-functional team members in definition and documentation of EDI processes, detailed requirements gathering, develops functional specifications, test plans/ cases, and EDI document deployment planning
Interface with EDI Trading Partners to establishing EDI trading relationships, completes required applications, and EDI contracts requirements.
Lead initiatives for EDI to provide additional efficiencies, reduce costs, make better decisions, save time, and improve relationships with our trading partners
Leverage strong business acumen to identify opportunities to leverage existing or new EDI data to drive improvement
