In order to be considered, the potential candidate must possess the following attributes:
Write robust, high-performance, maintainable code as leading member of the team
Be a part of a team working on a high volume, highly available security platform that is
critical to the success of the business
Participate in design discussions and take ownership and responsibility over projects
elements
Build available, scalable, low latency systems designed for high traffic infrastructure
Conduct performance testing and monitoring of production systems
Review work and assure adherence to best standards and practices
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical work
experience
Professional fluency in C and/or C++ to include 5-10 years of hands-on coding
and design experience
Experience with general purpose programming languages such as Python 2.7+
Fluency in Windows and Linux development
Experience developing device drivers
Kernel and user space development experience
5+ years of experience with integrated development environments and tools, including
GNU cross-compiler tool-chain, eclipse
3+ years of experience with software version-revision control systems (e.g., GIT,
BitBucket, etc.)
Solid Object-oriented design and development approach
Passionate about shipping quality high-performance code that is willing to go the extra
mile to deliver a quality product
Problem solver, a fixer, and a creative technologist
Great team player and communicator, written and verbal.
