Job Description – Change & Release Manager

Working with Development and Deployment teams for scoping, prioritization, and scheduling of changes to pre-production and production environments 

• Planning and executing major and minor releases, tracking and communicating progress and issues/risks to team leadership
• Managing risk that may affect scope, schedule, or production stability 
• Conduct Release Readiness, Milestone, and Release Retrospectives 
• Working with Change Management to ensure development teams complete required release and change deliverables
• Working with development teams to ensure SDLC deliverables are completed
• Supporting deployments over-night and on weekends (if needed)
• Facilitating transition of release contents into Production Support teams • Coordinating with other Project Managers, internal and external Stakeholders

Experience
• 5-7+ years' experience in a Release Management role
• ITIL Foundations certification
• Intermediate – JIRA/Confluence
• Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems.
• Enterprise, application and cloud infrastructure design experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership experience, collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
• Financial experience a plus.
• Strong leadership experience, ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities, effective management of resources and strong communication skills.
