Performance Engineer roles

This is Fulltime Role with my client and we are looking for senior resource who is hands on and can Manage teams accross the board.

Performance Engineer- Director of performance Engineer( Dev opps Back Ground is a Huge Plus)

H1 Transfer is ok as well the End client.

Performance engineering techniques and processes ,designing/modelling large performance tests
  • Must Hava Docker containers, Kuternetes, ECS
  • Should know implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment methodology for performance engineering
  • Experience in cloud computing preferably AWS
  • Expertise in designing load patterns by understanding the production workload and business demand
  • Expertise in hardware and software capacity engineering
  • Ability to understand business requirement and convert it into performance needs including end user transactions management and workload
  • Hands on experience conducting different performance test types including Load, failover, stress and capacity planning
  • Experience on performance testing tools such as StormRunner, Cloudtest, Jmeter, LoadUI, Grinder or similar is highly desirable
  • Expertise with Application performance monitoring tools like Dyntrace, New Relic, DataDog, Sitescope, Sumologic on analyzing load test results and finding performance bottlenecks
  • Ability to monitor test environment and to be able to extract meaningful monitoring data to aid in load test runs.
  • Expertise in understanding various components that comprise a test/production environment (Web/App/Database/Content tiers), Firewalls, Load Balancers, Global Load Balancers etc.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX (Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux) Documentation expertise with respect to load test - Devising test plans, gathering performance test requirements, extract and provide meaningful analysis from a load/performance test run.
  • Provide assistance in capacity planning and work in conjunction with SREs, dev and IT teams.
  • Good team player and a go-getter. Ability to mentor junior engineers in the team.
  • Ability to act as a liaison and build consensus among the various teams that participates in the load test cycle
  • Hands-on technical experience combined with strong management and communication skills.
  • Capable of technical deep-dives into code, networking, operating systems and storage, yet verbally and cognitively agile enough to hold your own in a strategy discussions
  • Extensive knowledge of application architectures and technical standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; extensive understanding of shared software concepts.
  • Proficient in multiple programming languages and tools.
  • Proficient in new and emerging technologies and SDLC advancements such as Cloud computing, Mobile and Continuous Integration and Deployment.
  • Negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.


Preferred Qulaification
  • Experience in one or more scripting(perl/shell/python/java) languages
  • Experience with Unix/Linux systems with scripting experience in Shell, Perl or Python
  • Having working knowledge of functional testing tools like Selenium webdriver, protractor etc
  • Database knowledge (MySQL/ MSSQL Server); ability to write complex SQL queries and understand data relationships
  • Experience in Machine Learning and Data science
