The Hyperion SME should be a Hyperion Planning Architect with 15+ years of designing Hyperion applications in a financial environment. This should ideally include experience working in the credit card domain. Understanding of financial strategy is a must, with experience supporting planning cycles. A BS in Management or Accounting or an MBA is desireable.

The SME should be highly skilled in designing and developing Hyperion Planning applications, with extensive experience with Essbase (BSO and ASO), Hyperion Financial Reports, DRM, and other Hyperion tools. They should be proficient writing calc scripts and MDX as well as SQL to load data into Essbase.

The SME should also be able to work directly with all levels of the organization, from refining requirements with senior management to training analysts to use the application. Experience working in a global team setting is a plus. Project management skill are required, with experience in delivering Hyperion applications.
