Position # 2: Consultant, SQL Development

Responsibilities
· Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of application enhancements following the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
· Write optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications
· Convert specifications about business problems into programming instructions
· Create and modify table, views, functions, triggers, stored procedures, database partitions and SSIS packages
· Collaborate with other developers of the project and integrate the system, perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of the application
Qualifications / Minimum qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Computer Science
· Prior experience in Banking and Financial Services
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to reverse engineer processes and code, identify insertion points, and expand and enhance existing logic
· Development experience with MS-SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio 2017
· In-depth knowledge of relational database design, T-SQL, creating stored procedures, views, user defined functions, and triggers
· ETL experience in SSIS, having utilized a majority of the native toolset for complex process flows; has developed robust, production quality, multi-functional packages for various integration objectives
· Ability to setup existing application on brand new servers
· Experience with .NET technologies
· Experience with UI technologies

· Experience in troubleshooting issues (including poor query performance) and root cause analysis
