Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Healthcare (Payer/Provider/PBM) applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and executing automation frameworks, API testing, and validating complex healthcare workflows while ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, TestNG/JUnit, or similar tools.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Validate healthcare workflows involving Claims, Eligibility, Enrollment, Member, Provider, Prior Authorization, or Pharmacy.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Report, track, and verify defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with API Automation (Rest Assured/Postman/SoapUI).
• Strong SQL skills for database validation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
