Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced API SDET with a strong background in API automation testing, backend validation, and test framework development. The ideal candidate should have experience testing RESTful services, building scalable automation frameworks, and working in Agile environments.

Required Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
  • Strong experience in API Automation Testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, or SoapUI.
  • Strong programming experience in Java.
  • Experience with Selenium for UI automation (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of JUnit or TestNG.
  • Experience validating REST APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).
  • Strong SQL skills for backend/database validation.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms is preferred.
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain API automation test frameworks.
  • Create and execute automated test cases for RESTful APIs.
  • Validate API responses, database records, and business logic.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
  • Analyze test results and prepare quality reports.
  • Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
