We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Developer to design, build, and operationalize intelligent agents using GitLab Duo within a modern SDLC ecosystem. The role focuses on leveraging AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and enable autonomous workflows across .NET (backend) and Angular (frontend) applications.

Key Responsibilities

AI Agent Development & Integration

• Design and develop AI-powered agents using GitLab Duo to automate SDLC activities (code generation, review, testing, documentation).

• Integrate GitLab Duo capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.

• Build custom prompts, automation scripts, and agent workflows aligned to enterprise standards.

Application Development (.NET + Angular)

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET.

• Build responsive UI applications using Angular (latest versions preferred).

• Ensure seamless integration between frontend, backend, and AI-driven components.

AI-Assisted Engineering Practices

• Leverage AI tools for:

◦ Code generation and refactoring

◦ Test case creation (unit, integration)

◦ Code review insights and defect prediction

• Implement metrics-driven engineering (code quality %, review insights, productivity benchmarks).

DevOps & GitLab Ecosystem

• Configure and optimize GitLab pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

• Embed AI agents into merge request workflows, code reviews, and quality gates.

• Utilize GitLab features such as:

◦ Code Quality & Security scanning

◦ CI/CD automation

◦ Developer analytics dashboards

Collaboration & Governance

• Work with architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to align AI agents with enterprise delivery standards.

• Define best practices for AI adoption, compliance, and governance.

• Support Scaled Agile (Scrum of Scrums) execution with AI-driven reporting and insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in:

◦ .NET Core / ASP.NET / C#

◦ Angular (v12+)

• Experience with GitLab (CI/CD, Repos, Merge Requests, Pipelines)

• Exposure to GitLab Duo / AI coding assistants / Copilot-like tools

• API development and integration (REST / Microservices)

AI & Automation

• Experience in:

◦ AI-assisted development tools

◦ Prompt engineering concepts

◦ Automation of development workflows

DevOps

• CI/CD pipeline design and automation

• Containerization (Docker preferred)

• Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS – good to have)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven SDLC transformation initiatives

• Knowledge of code quality metrics, static analysis tools, and security scanning

• Exposure to Banking/Financial Services domain
