Implementation project manager with payment domain

  • Drive project execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams including business, technology, QA, infrastructure, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Manage delivery governance activities including status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, change management, and escalation handling.
  • Oversee implementation of payment platforms, payment processing systems, transaction workflows, and related financial applications.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions while maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor project performance, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communication to provide transparency on project health and progress.
  • Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delivery impact.
  • Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical leadership teams to improve implementation processes and delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure successful production deployment, post-implementation support, and transition to operations teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Project Management and Delivery Management within the Payments domain.
  • Hands-on experience in project planning, implementation management, and delivery governance.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, payment processing workflows, banking transactions, and financial services environments.
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise implementations and client-facing delivery programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with risk management, issue tracking, resource planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or related project management certifications are preferred.
