Role: QA Lead with Manual & Integration Tester

Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on QA Lead tester with strong experience in manual testing, integration testing, API validation, and cross-system workflows.
The candidate must have strong experience in Manual Testing, JSON/XML validation, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and working across multiple integrated enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on manual testing including functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• QA activities while remaining actively involved in day-to-day test execution.
• Create, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for integrated applications.
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing across APIs, data flows, backend systems, and third-party platforms.
• Validate JSON, XML, REST API payloads, headers, and responses.
• Document defects, track progress, and collaborate with cross-functional teams using JIRA and Confluence.
• Manage and maintain QA documentation, test artifacts, and release notes in SharePoint.
• Work with developers, business analysts, and PMs to ensure complete test coverage and timely delivery.
• Perform root cause analysis and ensure high-quality releases.
• Coordinate testing activities, mentor junior testers when required, but remain hands-on.

Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Manual Testing with strong hands-on execution.
• Strong experience with Integration Testing across enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in validating JSON, XML, API payloads, and backend data.
• Strong experience with JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.
• Experience working with SharePoint for document and test artifact management.
• Ability to understand complex workflows, data flows, and system interactions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Basic SQL for backend validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
