Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data pipelines, storage solutions, and transformation processes that support critical business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.

• Implement robust data storage solutions leveraging Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.

• Build ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, cleanse, transform, and model data for analytics and reporting.

• Optimize data processing performance and scalability using tools like Spark, SQL, and Python.

• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance through Azure-native security tools and governance practices.

• Monitor data pipelines and storage for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Implement CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployments using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Data Engineer in an Azure cloud environment.

• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data transformation techniques.

• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and large-scale data processing.

• Familiarity with Azure security best practices, including role-based access control, encryption, and Azure Purview.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
