Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and delivery-focused Core Product Owner with the ability to wear multiple hats, including Scrum Master responsibilities, and deep domain expertise across credit decisioning, credit card processing, and risk, finance, and treasury functions. This individual will drive product vision, roadmap execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable financial solutions aligned with regulatory and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership:
  • Define and own the product roadmap for credit and finance-related systems, aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate complex business requirements into user stories, epics, and product features.
  • Prioritize and groom product backlogs, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and business value.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and key liaison between business units and technical teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance using KPIs and user feedback.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos).
  • Remove impediments and coach the team in Agile best practices to ensure high-performance delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and accountable team environment.

Credit & Risk Domain:
  • Lead initiatives related to credit decisioning, credit policy rules, and underwriting workflows.
  • Work closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulatory mandates.
  • Oversee credit card lifecycle processes, including originations, limit management, delinquency strategies, and charge-offs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner in financial services or fintech, with a background in credit, risk, or finance.
  • Strong understanding of credit card lifecycle, credit decisioning process, and risk-based pricing models.
  • Experience leading cross-functional Agile teams and performing Scrum Master duties.
