Portfolio Analyst

Job Description: Portfolio Analyst,

• This position will report to the VP of the Technology Infrastructure Services Business Service PMO, but will work closely with shared allocation to the Finance Business Services lead. As a contract employee to the TIS Business Services PMO the portfolio analyst would be supporting current business process and development in maturity for the Business Services Portfolio (program and Project) Management Function:
o Program and Project Health Status (on time on budget)
o Finance impact on the total portfolio based upon program and project status
o Metrics and Reporting for the total portfolio developing requirements and working with key business partner to delivery on the monthly results through a monthly business review
o Identify new processes for portfolio / project management and work with partners to delivery on continuous process improvement
o Organizational Change Management functions to support the implementation of change business processes
• Candidates should be strong self-starters and have a consulting mind set to be successful in this role. They should require minimum direction, but seek help immediately when needed.
• Candidates must have strong Microsoft skills with PPT, Excel, Sharepoint, Visio validate performance improve results through metrics and reporting. Knowledge of Tableau dashboard reporting is a plus.
• Candidates will be provide assignments, durations to complete, and expected to validate estimates. Timely completion of assignments will be the key measurement of success.
• Candidates with knowledge of Six Sigma (DFSS or DMIAC) as well as LEAN and CMMi is all a plus
• Candidates will need to be located in a Client footprint, but open to locations as this will be part of a very distributed team
• Knowledge of key performance management systems a plus – Service Now, Clarity, Tableau Client also have a few in house developed systems which the candidate may need to learn quickly.
