Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering. Information Science or equivalent experience required
Minimum ofseven years' experience in System Administration of MS Window and/or Linux Operating Systems required
Must have versatile industry experience on different IT platfonns with a strong background in Microsoft and Linux technologics
Technical skills in systems, web server and database administration
Previous experience in Release Management. cenification, application installation, deployment, documentation, and application support
Experience with Oracle or SQL databases, Unix Shell script. XML. Java scripts along with IIS 6x/7x
Experience with Anti-virus solutions throughout an enterprise network and Design, implementation and administration of DNS, WINS.
Strong experience working on at least one Investment Book ofRecord (IBOR) platform e.g. Eagle Star, Eagle Pace, Advent Geneva, CRDor Ponia
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong muli-tasking skills required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILmES:
Install, configure, and admiruster the operating system, and computing infiastrucrure specific to the Investment Management Accounting and Data Warehousing solution.
Perfonn system administration for this solution; security, file and directory permissions, adding/deleting users, etc.
Perfonn software administration for this solution; build, test, install and certify software package new and releases.
Ensure system optimization; monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues as they relate to; process, CPU, memory, i/o network, and web server.
Create documentation to guide users and technical suppon personnel in the installation and configuration of this solution
Test, install and certify software packages and related documenta1ion buih for distribution of releases.
Triage, understand, recreate, fix and resolve software installation and configuration issues reported by users.
Assist users and technical support personnel in all tasks relating to installa1ioo, upgrade and configuration of software modules.
Ensure system optimization; monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues as they relate to; process, CPU, memory, i/o network, and web server.
Provide Production Support to resolve issues faced by users lhat relate to installation and configuration of software components and infrastructure
Work closely with the solution teams 10 provide integrated planning for operating system upgrades, database upgrades, application
upgrades and hardware migrations.
