We are currently accepting resumes for the position of DATABASE ANALYST 4.
Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's databases. Consults with and provides guidance to database users and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic solutions. Performs moderately complex server-class database activities across various platforms and environments including one or more of the following: business requirement identification and analysis; conceptual, logical, and/or physical database design; data modeling and/or mapping; moderate to complex programming and coding to automate and/or support the database environment; performance monitoring and tuning; analyzing database metrics and assisting with capacity planning; planning, testing, configuration and execution of installations, upgrades and migrations; and implementing security controls. Leads, mentors and/or provides guidance to less experienced database analysts, where applicable, including guidance for troubleshooting escalated issues. May participate in the development of data/ database architectures and management policies, procedures and standards; May lead moderately complex projects.: 5+ years database design and administration experience.
1) Must have SQL Development capability (SSIS/DTS) 2) Must have experience in Data Warehouse implementation 3) Must be able to read .NET Code 4) Can be hired fulltime if necessary Basic Qualifications 4+ years database design and administration experience. 2+ years .NET Software development 4+ years data warehouse design experience 4+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. 4+ SQL Server development, including strong knowledge of SQL Server 2012/2014, T-SQL, SSIS and database modeling tools. 4+ years’ experience designing, maintaining, and supporting high available, high volume production systems. -Demonstrated advance database development skills (DTS / SSIS). -Demonstrated advanced problem solving and analysis skills. -Demonstrated advanced database performance / analysis. -Demonstrated experience in clustered environments. -Demonstrated experience participating in the planning, design and usage of data resources -Demonstrated experience providing support to development team on infrastructure and DBA Support -Identifiable organizational and task prioritization skills (detail oriented). -Proven ability to provide in-depth consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. -Candidate must possess self-motivation and strong communication skills (oral and written) to manage customer relations with emphasis on verbal and written communication. Candidate should be able to communicate with upper management using nontechnical terms to discuss technical issues. Preferred Skills -Experience as a DBA in SQL Server 2012/2014 both single instance and clustered -Experience with SQL Server 2012/2014 R2 SSRS -Experience with SQL Server 2012/2014 R2 Analysis Server -Experience with Microsoft CRM 2016 -Experience with performance monitoring, Database and SQL tuning -Demonstrated experience cross training and providing support for other applications and RDBMS Platforms. -Ability to work off-hours, when required. -Installation experience with DBMS software
