Entry Level Supply Chain Support Specialist

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
CPI has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Supply Chain Support Specialist for our defense client's Scottsdale, AZ facility. This assignment is a U.S. Government Contract. Due to the work performed within our client's facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
 
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
  • Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment
  • Has little or no role in decision-making
  • May require decision-making but with limited financial implications to the company
  • Focus is on completing tasks or activities supporting policies and procedures
  • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work
  • Works under close supervision
  • Supports the Innovation Sourcing Network (ISN) to engage with suppliers and internal technical teams for all ISN processes.
  • Interfaces with suppliers, program personnel and technical teams to assist with workload
  • Provides administrative and clerical support specifically related to the ISN program activities
  • Execute workload in a timely a manner
  • Reviews Tech Scout weekly metrics collaborates with ISN team to action TechScouts
  • Coordinates and conducts Virtual Tech Ten Talks with suppliers according to the process
  • Updates supplier information in the ISN Supplier Directory according to the update process
  • Seek direction and follow established procedures on routine work
  • Requires instructions on new assignments
  • Requires incrementally less oversight and direction on repeat low value, risk and complexity assignments 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • General understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete tasks
  • General understanding of administrative workflow tracking procedures
  • Ability to communicate issues and seek direction
  • Good time management skills
  • General knowledge of collaboration tools like WebEx, Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good problem solving skills
