Analyst Material Handling

Location: AVON LAKE, Ohio
Material Handling Parts Control Analyst for the Ohio Assembly Plant Responsibilities:
- Managing Plant engineering change control system for the Material Handling department.
- Review automotive part concerns, the data provided, and determine best plan to keep plant production protected, as required.
- Participate in supplier capacity constraint management and resolution.
- Respond to customer changes, react to quality containment, shipping adjustments, and schedule changes as required.
- Participate in weekly inventory meetings.
- Identify data gaps in CMMS (missed advanced shipping notices, missed production counts, receiving/shipping discrepancies, etc.) and take corrective actions.
- Support ISO 14001, internal and external audits as required.
- Support Client Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices.
- Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Ability to work any shift and weekends.

Skills Required:

Experience Required:
- 2+ years of CMMS and production control experience
- Will consider recent college graduate with degree in Supply Chain Management or Transportation & Logistics
- 1+ year experience in Microsoft Office products

Experience Preferred:
- Experience in scheduling, supply chain, inventory planning, bill of material, change control, new model launch, cycle checking, and/or logistics.
- Experience with inventory process flow and SNURK inventory reports.
- Basic understanding of Client material management systems (CMMS, CPARS, SMF) and support systems. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

Education Required:
High School Diploma

Education Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Operations, Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management & Information Systems, Applied Engineering Science, or Business Management preferred
