Provisioning Analyst

CPI has an immediate opening for a Provisioning Analyst for our client's Huntsville, AL facility. This assignment is a U.S. Government Contract. Due to the work performed within our client's facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
An active Secret Security Clearance is preferred prior to hire. Candidates selected must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within 12 - 24 months of hire. All applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
 
PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:
 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering or equivalent experience is required. In addition a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience is required. 
  • Military experience in operations, maintenance, supply, training, Logistics Management and/or Acquisition Logistics experience preferred. Possesses expertise in one or more of the ILS elements. 

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
  • Develop provisioning technical data (PTD) derived from engineering drawings, schematics, models, bills of materials (BOM), and other source data
  • Produce provisioning reports and artifacts such as provisioning parts lists (PPL) and engineering data for provisioning (EDFP)
  • Develop provisioning reports and documentation to support the technical manual effort using maintenance allocation charts
  • Develop Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL)
  • Interface and collaborate with cross-functional Engineering and support teams to identify and collect relevant provisioning source data
  • Interface and collaborate with cross-functional Engineering and support teams to identify and resolve provisioning source data conflicts
  • Assists in project/program tasks related to specific ILS elements
  • Provides ILS input to project/program plans and proposals
  • Supports other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements
  • Defines, reviews and tests system requirements for enhancements/modifications for supportability
  • Performs duties and responsibilities as the ILS functional area lead on process improvement teams and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Participates in the development of supplier requirements and Statement of Work
  • Provides ILS functional area inputs (technical and cost) to proposals
  • Independently create documentation for management and program deliverables
  • Communicates within and between project IPTs, upper management levels, Contract and Subcontract management, all Engineering disciplines
  • Accomplish Applicable Defense Acquisition University (DAU) courses 
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrated understanding of the logistics support analysis processes, formerly documented in MIL-STD 1388, MIL-PRF 49506, as well as logistics management information defined in GEIA-STD-0007B
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Familiar with automated provisioning tools, such as PowerLog-J, or commercial tools like EAGLE, SLICwave, etc...
  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Highly proficient knowledge/experience in one or more of the elements of logistics
  • Highly proficient knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements: Supply Support, Maintenance Planning, Client and Personnel, Technical Data, Training and Training Equipment
  • Specialize in one or more of the ILS elements
  • Highly proficient knowledge of military/commercial requirements/ specifications applicable to functional area expertise Knowledge, understanding and use of internal/external procedures and policies
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing highly proficient knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields
