Location: Phoenix, Arizona
CPI is hiring an experienced IT Auditor on a contract-to-hire basis for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities:
  • Will lead technical audits of systems and applications for ensuring a rigorous and constructive examination of the company's computing environment. In addition, this position will conduct audit testing, documentation of audit test results, edits and presentation of audit reports, observations and risk assessments.
  • Lead complex level technical and integrated audits, provide consulting services to the organization's management and staff, and provide training and coaching to other Internal Audit members.
  • Work independently under general supervision. Collaborate with other members of the Internal Audit team to plan and develop work program schedules, risk assessments, and other planning documents.
  • Conduct internal audit interviews, testing steps, and the documenting of accurate test results within audit scope.
  • Communicate audit test results and findings to client based on a risk based methodology.
  • Produce final results and formalize discussion on audit findings and associated risks based on audit scope and objectives.
  • Prepare and edit audit reports and present observations and/or recommendations including follow-up when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
  • May supervise department staff.

Background & Experience Required:
  • Undergraduate degree, with emphasis in IT or other related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of internal IT audit, IT consulting, IT SOX or general IT experience with Public Accounting experience.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP).
  • Knowledge of the current IT environment and IT industry trends.
  • Must have thorough understanding of complex Information Technology processes and controls for Change Management, Access Administration, Computer Operations, PCI requirements, COBIT Standards, Operating Systems to include Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and Windows Active Directory, Database Management Systems (Oracle, SQL) and Network Infrastructure.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively translate technology issues into business risk and impact.
  • Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, along with the ability to work well in teams (internal and external) and develop relationships with information technology, finance, and operational management.
  • Must be customer service oriented and be accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements.
