Sr. Systems Test Engineer

CPI has an immediate opening for a Sr. Systems Engineer for our defense client Florham Park, NJ.  This assignment is a U.S. Government Contract. The Senior Systems Engineer will lead, analyze, design, develop and test client's systems to ensure the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety and other requirements in the total engineering effort. Additional responsibilities include formulating operational concepts; performing mission, functional, cost-benefit and risk analysis; selecting systems architecture; and preparing specifications for client's operating systems to ensure designs meet applicable security specifications. This person may also be asked to document security on both new and fielded information systems or provide accreditation/certification evaluation and test support to ensure all technical security features are considered and functioning properly.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance with a Polygraph is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance within 12 – 24 months of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the work performed within our client's facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.
