We have a career opening for an Engineering Technician for our client in San Diego, CA.
The Engineering Technician position will support the assembly and integration of analog and digital cables for use in systems in the realm of signal processing, information processing, and display processing on proprietary platforms. Assemblies include coaxial cables, RF connectors, and electrical cables, ribbons, combined with complex connectors/in-outs.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment.
The assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be a US Citizen.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to):
  •  Assembly of digital and analog cables and connectors
  • Testing of digital and analog cables and connectors
  • Assembly and integration of electromechanical components
  • System assembly and testing of payload assemblies, training equipment, and kit packaging
  • Must be US Citizen and at least an INTERIM Secret or Higher Clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with manufacturing and testing of analog, digital, and Radio Frequency (RF) circuits/systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in soldering, crimping, and manufacture of RF, analog, and digital wires.
  • Hand soldering certification and/or training is highly desired but not required
  • Cable and wire harness assembly certification and/or training (IPC-A-620) highly desired but not required
  • At least an INTERIM SECRET OR Higher clearance is required at time of hire 
    Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
