Advanced Material Handling Associate

Location: Huntsville, Alabama
CPI has an immediate opening for an Advanced Material Handling Associate for our defense client's Huntsville, AL facility. This assignment is a U.S. Government Contract. Due to the work performed within our client's facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
 
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
  • Possesses necessary computer skills to locate and manage all required data and may prepare metrics
  • May analyze and act on data related to production rates data, review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements
  • Possesses a basic understanding of configuration management tools as job requires
  • May act as a team lead for group activities, cross-functional or Supply Chain communication or customer inquiries
  • Performs specialized project tasks & assignments of a more complex nature
  • May handle and process classified material or oversee storage of Customer Property 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Considerable knowledge of material planning, control and inventory methodology and applies it to a wide range of tasks

  • Ability to readily handle unexpected demands and adapt to new situations
  • Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
