Leader Position
Leader would be responsible for the automation of regulatory reporting with a team comprised of technical regulatory reporting specialists responsible, in partnership with Report Owners, for the accurate production of regulatory reports and transition from existing reporting processes. 
This team will focus on the transition from existing reporting processes to the automated platform and ensuring the outcomes are accurate for significant regulatory reports. 
 

Role
User acceptance testing: Ensure data flows to regulatory reporting appropriately in-line with regulatory instructions
Change Management: Develop a change management protocol to ensure upstream and downstream changes are captured in automated regulatory reporting accurately
Production Efforts: Develop plans and execute report production across all reports in scope of eOne, including working detailed project plans and identifying data gaps and operational requirements with Regulatory Reporting team along with ensuring reports meet desired outcome and system functionality
Transition:  Work with and develop integration plans with existing reporting framework and provide seamless migration from manual processes to automated in eOne
Support of Report Owner responsibilities, as necessary: This includes but is not limited to
  • maintaining line of sight into end to end processes
  • understanding and challenging all reported numbers, as appropriate
  • understanding and coordinating implementation of report instruction changes
  • partnering with support groups (Governance & Oversight, Data Management, Analytics, Change Management, and Technical Interpretations) to improve the control environment
Role
This is a new leadership position that will be responsible for reporting transformation efforts within the Enterprise Financial Reporting Change Management team responsible for the development of a system and reporting logic to produce accurate production of significant regulatory reports such as the FRY-9C, all supporting schedules, FR Y-14M, FFIEC 031/041, among many other reports. 
 
Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Test the automation and alignment of data elements to specific line-items within regulatory reports to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Ensure changes are appropriately captured in the mapping and data element mapping process
  • Resolve any discrepancies identified which may require system logic changes and business partner coordination across many lines of business
  • Drive transition of reports to the Lombard reporting system, utilizing the current data submission processes.
  • Ensure reporting system has functionality and user interface built to desired specifications for the report production team
  • Drive preparations for connecting the future centralized data warehouse (multi-year project) to the Lombard reporting system.
  • Help identify areas for consolidations of aggregated Vena submissions.
  • Help with miscellaneous projects assigned by manager that require vast subject matter expertise.
  • Partner closely with the Financial Reporting, Data Quality, and Remediation Change Management team within the Financial Reporting group

Skillsets Needed for Success
  • Deep understanding of financial products (e.g., loans, securities, derivatives, etc.)
  • Indepth knowledge of line-item specific regulatory reporting guidance
  • Ability to document conclusions with well-founded supporting basis for policy decisions
  • Understanding of financial institution systems and general architecture
  • Analytical thinking with focus on anticipation of potential issues
