 Benefit Specialist 

Ability to take on very complex plans and sensitive clients. Identify process and plan improvements/efficiencies to the direct manager. Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot issues as the arise concerning calculations. Mentor and train new employees and teach best practices in their role along with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts. Assist in the quality review of benefit calculations for accuracy and determine if calculation is approved or denied for distribution. Ability to discuss failed calculation with peer. Support technical team in client specific projects.
We are currently working through a highly visible project surrounding lost vested participants in the PBO Business, and have had to take a experienced processor off the floor. Additionally, due to the high volume of deferred's in our PBO book of business demand has been high, and need to meet customer demands.
