Web Application Penetration Tester
Can be Remote!!

This position will be in-house penetration testing and red team member/manager who shall:
  • Manage a team of 3+ security testing professionals.
  • Coordinate and perform formal penetration tests on web-based applications, networks and computer systems
  • Design and create new penetration tools and tests
  • Probe for vulnerabilities in web applications, fat/thin client applications and standard applications
  • Pinpoint methods that attackers could use to exploit weaknesses and logic flaws
  • Employ social engineering to uncover security holes (e.g. poor user security practices or password policies)
  • Perform ethical hacking to assess the current state of risk by evaluating the existing security methods, measures and policies.
  • Research, document and discuss security findings with management and IT teams
  • Provide feedback and verification as an organization fixes security issues

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline desired and typically five to ten years' experience in pen testing & red teaming
  • Ideally, this position would be filled with talent that was previously in the military or a government agency performing these duties.
