Service Integration Layer Designer / Webmethods

NOTE: This project will last 12 to 24 months but the manager will renew resource at 3 month intervals at first. 1-2 days remote is possible.

Implementing enterprise-wide InContact/Nice system, current system is Avaya. Will also replace workforce management tools. Will need to do design and development. Knowledge of datawarehouses, databases and record keeping platforms. Good to have a call center and IVR background (infrastructure and telephony. Will designs specs, as well as reusable code and test plans.

Would like:
  • 5+ years of webmethods integration server
  • 3+ terradata or sybase
  • Experience delivering large scale SOA/web services integration

Service Integration Layer Designer at our client will evaluate business and technical requirements and translate into designs and unit tested and maintainable code. The Service Integration Layer Designer is responsible for design and development of application integration components utilized to access data from various source systems (ie. data warehouses, databases and record keeping platforms).  The Service Integration Layer Designer will perform related duties as assigned or requested. Receives general supervision and is competent to work at the highest level of all technical phases of software programming while working on own most of the time.

Basic Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of development experience with webMethods Integration Server 8.x required
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of databases, preferably Teradata and Sybase
  • Proven experience working on and delivering large-scale, Enterprise Application Integrations, B2B Integrations and SOA/web services Integrations
  • Experience with DataPower Integration with webMethods
  • Experience with working collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of Insurance Products and Operations
  • Participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – Initiate, Business Requirements, Analysis & Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, Post-Implementation
  • Key contributor to design and coding patterns, leveraging experience and industry standards and best practices
  • Lead and collaborate on design sessions
  • Create design specifications
  • Develop re-usable code
  • Create unit test plans
  • Perform design and code reviews
  • Work within best practices, standards & guidelines established by our client
  • Mentor others regarding best practices and leading industry principles
  • Call center development experience preferred
