 New Business Development Sales Professional – Hartford/New Haven area

We currently seek a New Business Development Sales Professional to help continue our expansion in the Connecticut market. If you love the thrill of the hunt then iTech is the place for you.

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in New Business Development in the IT staffing or solutions Industry and/or an IT delivery leadership background.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the local market.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to write proposals and response to RFPs
  • Strong Sales / Negotiation skills.
  • Prior selling of Agile or Information Security Services a plus.
