 Cherwell ITSM Platform Developer,
Job Description: Provide technical assistance, software configuration/customization assistance including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations. This includes working with process owners to develop workflow, implement the workflows in Service Applications, administer the tools and handle related incident tickets.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, implementation and sustained support of future IT Service Management system. They will provide creative solutions to resolve business problems via customer requirements based on system capability, process gaps (ITSM/ITIL) and cultural challenges.
Key Responsibilities: Provide the technical leadership to assist in ITSM implementation Assist in gathering and documenting user and process requirements. Perform quality assurance (QA) testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide analysis and resolution for issues that arise during and following production deployment. Manage the ITSM system performance and capacity
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or combination of education and work experience Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions Experience with implementing/supporting IT Service Management solutions Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and of working in a SaaS environment. Working knowledge using a report writer such as Crystal Reports or SQL Server Reporting Services Application Development experience (e.g. SDLC, Agile Scrum, etc.) Experience in the management of all phases of the application lifecycle and best practices to include requirement Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems support with experience in ITSM/ITIL process analysis and improvement ITIL V2 or V3 Foundations Certification
