The Telecom Billing and Provisioning Lead is responsible for organizing and leading projects to consolidate, validate and maintain, with 100% accuracy, the telecommunication inventor. Additionally, continuously working with The Client representatives to support overall telecommunication, which includes billing, invoicing issues, dispute resolution, ordering and provisioning, and technology recommendations.
•Lead project to ensure telecommunication inventory is 100% accurate and contains all pertinent information for billing and future planning purposes. This could include engaging and managing third-parties in “tone and tag” or other investigational efforts.
•Lead efforts to re-tool current processes and SLA to ensure optimal workflow with regards to ordering and provisioning
•Lead efforts to re-tool current processes and SLA to ensure optimal real-time communication to stakeholders (both internal and external)
•Lead efforts to re-tool current processes and SLA to ensure optimal executive-level reporting to document spend based on pertinent criteria. Allowing leadership to make accurate and far-reaching strategic decisions.
•Work with Enterprise departments and divisions to coordinate administration, support and implementation of telecommunications services to improve productivity and minimize costs.
•Analyze the detailed monthly wireless and fixed wireline detail records and related costs to verify that we are being charged correct rates; to determine if we should select a more cost-effective plan; to determine if employee(s) are using business plan for personal usage; etc. Communicate concerns to Manager; Business Operations and plan recommendations to Manager; Business Operations and Department Head or Department Representative.
•Review monthly telephone charges including fees, taxes, and other charges via the vendors automated billing system.
•Compile information for department bill backs related to wireless and conference calling.
•Work with department representatives or employees and vendor to resolve any wireless service or equipment issues that develop.
•Assist with purchase of minor equipment; maintenance and service that does not relate to a contract from managing purchase requirements; determining the best vendors to work with to source this item; securing quotes from vendors; vendor selection; managing item/product arrival and following up with customer.

•Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
•Working knowledge of MS Access is a plus
•Working knowledge of MS Visio or equivalent is a plus
•Understanding of telecommunication technologies, especially information regarding ordering and provisioning, including: MPLS, POTS, PRI, DSL, Cable, and fiber.
•Bachelor’s degree Business or Information Technology
•7 to 10 years of a combination of progressive telecom expense management and telecom billing management experience.
•AOTMP certification or equivalent is a plus
