Description: Temp AMS Technology Specialist Tasks

End User Support: Support faculty, staff and students via walk-ins, calls, email, and occasional in-classroom support. Collaborate with IT staff to diagnose and troubleshoot existing Blackboard, Echo360, and third party vender issues.

Ongoing Course Support: serve as a resource for faculty posting assignments and other deliverables, post materials on the course sites as requested, serve as liaison between end user and instructor/TA, provide support to teaching assistants, facilitate Adobe Connect or Zoom sessions, conference calls, Echo360 software updates, and other engagement options as they become available, ensure availability of on-time and accurate transcripts, post video content and provide updates on class cancellations and rescheduled classes. Verify ECHO360 video links and sites, curate ECHO360 content as necessary: ensure working videos, and reorganize video lists.

Training: serve as a resource for faculty and teaching assistants trainings and resources, meet with faculty and teaching assistants to train and mentor on available classroom technology, Echo360 Personal Capture, Blackboard functions and Zoom, as needed.
