Position Description This is an urgent fill. 3-6 months, possibly longer Functional (Minimum) Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Creo to develop parts and drawings • Manipulate 3D CAD models and create drawings of parts and assemblies • Parametric drawing ability a must • Ability to manipulate CAD models in order to effect changes to working drawings • Ability to work independently and operate efficiently in a team environment • Knowledgeable and experienced in the application of ASME Y14.5-2009 drawing standards • Experience using Windchill 10.1 (considered a plus) • Develop working drawings, layouts and BOM's • Ability to take direction from leader and/or representative • Proficient in the English language • Basic understanding of office tools: Word, PPT, Excel, etc. • Offer ideas that represent innovation with respect to part or assembly design • Participate in weekly reviews on project timing and roadblocks Considerable Abilities – (Minimum abilities must be met) • Develop 3D CAD designs of parts and assemblies • Design for form, fit and function using DFM and DFA principals • Support product engineering with analysis in the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements. • Provide technical assistance for prototype and production support • Design new and modified components in accordance with engineering standards and project scope • Work directly with suppliers to develop and launch new components • Research and propose new technologies to be applied in product development
