SEARCH Group Partners, a premier recruiting firm, is seeking Electrical & Automation Engineer for one of our clients located in Salt Lake City, UT.  The Electrical & Automation Engineer will provide leadership in the design of both electrical systems and process controls.  Acting as a subject matter expert for the facility, this role is both hands-on and project leader for capability expansion and capital projects pertaining to the automation of manufacturing.  You'll use your expertise in automation system design, current PLC technology, human machine interface design, Industrial Networks, distributed I/O and operating systems in the development and execution of many high-priority projects.
Here's what you need to have...

·         Minimum 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer
·         3+ years of experience with direct PLC programming and overseeing the function of other programmers.
·         Proven experience contributing to plant-wide automation architecture and electrical cabinet design.
·         Proficiency with PLC, AutoCAD, PackML and OMAC standards.
·         Networking (Ethernet/IP, Device Net, Control Net, As-I) and Programming (RSLogix 5000 , Kinetix Servo Drives, Factory Talk View-SE) experience
