Sales Operations Manager

SEARCH Group Partners, a premier recruiting firm, is looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager for one of our clients located in the greater Salt Lake/Provo area.

The Sales Operations Manager position is an integral part of the inside sales and client retention teams our software business.  This person will help the team to run effectively, efficiently and in support of business strategies and objectives as the resident sales technology expert. They will be responsible for collecting and evaluating sales information, reporting up to various sales and company leaders, and using that information to provide input on sales productivity and processes/programs.

Here are a few things you'll likely find yourself doing in this role...
  • Use as a sales management productivity tool, and champion its use with the Sales management and team members
  • Enhance inside sales team productivity through the management of CRM data, enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes, evaluating new tools/apps/call and dialer systems, and providing easy access to information and resources needed to manage and close sales
  • Providing timely and accurate business forecasts and results reporting to sales and executive management, ensuring data is shared cross-functionally
  • Be an advisor to Leaders, providing sales enablement recommendations based on objectives, forecast, and performance metrics
  • Understand and highlight daily, weekly, and quarterly revenue trends
  • Evaluate the overall use of Evaluate, recommend, and implement the integration of new apps, and redoing architecture based on findings
  • Work with managers and team trainers to increase productivity and facilitate increased sales through education of the company offerings and internal processes
  • Working closely with other cross-functional management teams in marketing, product, and finance operations to achieve efficiency and sustainability in sales operations
Here's what you need to have...
  • BA/BS in an analytical or business field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or related field) or comparable work experience
  • 5+ years of work experience in Sales Operations, Sales Technology, Sales Analytics, or Sales Finance preferably in inside sales, call center, or high growth organization
  • Has expertise in all phases of the sales cycle along with a deep understanding of inside sales call center management issues.
  • Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools
  • Excel Wizard with a strong understanding of reporting results in Salesforce, other CRM applications, and for various marketing strategies
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a largely self-directed capacity
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Results & Process-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
