SEARCH Group Partners, a premier recruiting firm, is looking for Development Scientist for one of our clients in Madison Heights, MI.

Here are a few things you'll likely find yourself doing in this role...
  • Develop new innovative adhesives and sealants focused on automotive markets.
  • Complete projects within mutually agreed customer timeline.
  • Propose and develop adhesives strategically aligned with market needs.
  • Engage in the patenting of innovative work.
  • Make technical presentations at customer meetings and conferences.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and research institutions to develop new technologies
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, business, and quality teams
Here's what you need to have...
  • Ph.D or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or other relevant technical field
  • 3+ years of Industry experience in adhesives and formulation required.
  • Must have experience in development of adhesives based on epoxy technology.
  • Must have experience developing and production scale up of adhesives/ sealants.
  • Experience with structural tapes is a plus.
