SEARCH Group Partners, a premier recruiting firm, is looking for an experienced Buyer for one of our clients located in Moorpark, CA. 
Successful applicant will work in a fast paced team environment sourcing spare parts for military aircraft, vehicles, and electronics. Duties entail reading and understanding government requests for specific part numbers; researching internal and external databases to find potential manufacturer sources in the United States; and making phone calls and sending emails to contacts to obtain price and delivery information. Collaborate with other buyers and report to the Procurement Manager.
 EDUCATION: Associate's degree or higher.  A combination of higher education and substantive work experience may be considered.
 SKILLS: This position is best suited for persons with: a) excellent attention to the smallest details b) quick and accurate typing (50 WPM MIN) c) good memory for numbers d) excellent problem solving skills.
LOCATION: Preference to candidates living in or within 15 miles of Moorpark, CA.
HOURS: M-F, workday begins at your choice of 7:30, or 8:00 a.m.  Overtime occasionally required.
MILITARY SERVICE: Preference given to veterans, however prior service is not required.
