Junior Windows Administrator

Compensation: up to $42/hr (W2 only) w/ Conversion salary up to $55k/yr + Benefits

Requirements/Responsibilities: 
  • 1+ year of Windows Server Administration experience.
  • 1+ year of Cloud administration. (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google, OCI).
  • 1+ year of experience working on an enterprise level operations team.
  • Analyze and understand clients' needs and expectations, as well as alternative architectures and trends.
  • Assist in small to medium scale design projects, interfacing with project managers.
  • Establish, explain, and validate the solution testing criteria for projects.
  • Design services in accordance with Client standards and vendor best practices.
  • Maintain and develop scripting to help automate and monitor clients. (e.g. PowerShell, Cloud Watch, OEM, Splunk).
  • Remain current on vendor best practices as it relates to the interlinking of technologies. (Windows, AWS Cloud, Azure cloud).
  • Provide expertise on system performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintenance patching and new version installation.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates for repeatable build outs.
  • Plan and implement small to medium scale changes on production systems.
  • Analyze and assess the impact and risk of small to medium risk changes on production systems.
  • Install, configure, patch and maintain appropriate technologies. (e.g. servers/databases/network/storage).
  • Design and assist small to medium scale disaster recovery tests.
  • Create and review technical system recovery plans.
  • Assist Windows team in performing major upgrades of systems and associated products.
