Description:
The Testing Program Manager will establish a Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) for centralized / automated testing of projects that focus on ERP's (Enterprise Resource Platforms). This position will interface with multiple groups and projects and is responsible for managing overall test strategy, cutover strategy, planning, governance, execution, status, metrics, issue resolution and data conversion strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, creation, deployemnt and management of a Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) including the development of a standardized test script inventory and standard test approach.
  • Responsible for test strategy & planning, execution, status & metrics, issue resolution which includes the data conversion strategy.
  • Responsible for the overall testing team up to 7 people) as well as cost & budget, development & performance reviews as well as target setting and achievement of those targets.
  • Team will execute the testing (Integration, Regression, User Acceptance (UAT)) of large-scale, complex projects across all process teams that touch the ERP (e.g. General Ledger, Asset Management, Process Control, Labor, Accounts Payable, etc.) producing enhancement and upgrade deliverables.
  • Liason for all testing and cutover planning between various groups.
  • Identify and implement cutting-edge test automation tools and processes.
  • Assist with re-design of existing policies and procedures and assure compliance to industry policies and procedures.
  • Establish and oversee effective issue resolution, change control and risk management processes.
  • Maintain project plan (and phase gate reviews) and report semi-weekly status dashboards at various level.
Requirements:
  • Proven past success with large system program implementations (SAP and/or PeopleSoft preferred).
  • 6+ years of related experience with a strong Project/Program management background.
  • PMI Certification or proven track record a must; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced environment with strong time-management skills as well as the ability to manage teams independentl.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and organizational skills.
  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, IT, Project Management or equivalent work experience.
