Requirements
• In depth knowledge of US federal and state corporate income, gross receipts, property, excise and sales and use taxes and foreign income and value-added taxes
• In depth knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting and disclosure requirements related to income taxes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management, staff and outside advisors and authorities
• Ability to handle multiple projects, effectively communicate status and complete projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for all of the Company's worldwide tax functions including supervision of the current staff of two Tax Directors and associated staff
• Monitoring all of the Company's tax compliance activities including communicating with federal, state, & local authorities in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Asia-Pacific and South America
• Coordination with and primary contact to outside consultants, financial statement auditors on all matters related to taxes and income tax advisors
• In depth knowledge of US GAAP reporting related to taxation under Accounting Standards Codification 740 – Income Taxes (ASC 740 including FIN 48)
• Preparation of all income tax related footnotes and disclosures for the Company's public filings (10-K and 10-Q)
• Coordination of preparation of federal and state income tax returns for the United States and abroad
• Analysis of Section 382 of the US federal income tax code in the United States and periodic update to the Company's Section 382 analysis at the federal and state level
• Coordination and supervision of in-house preparation of state and local tax returns including telecommunications, sales & use and property taxes in the United States and value-added taxes abroad
•Responsible for the documentation and compliance requirements associated with transfer pricing policies and procedures in the United States and abroad
• Responsible for all Sarbanes Oxley testing associated with all tax processes
• Continuous improvement of and compliance with policies and procedures related to the Company's worldwide tax process
• Worldwide tax planning and tax structure

Educational & Experience Requirements
Certified Public Accountant
• 7-10 years of US federal/state and international income tax experience
• Undergraduate degree – taxation, finance or accounting
• Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus
