Training Lead

  • Work with Senior Director of Legal and Government Affairs Learning and Development and members of the Legal Education Training team as well as departmental attorneys in design, developing and implementing legal/compliance training as needed.
  • Support various activities related to course design, development and implementation.
  • Handle the administrative functions associated with setting up in-person or live online legal education and training sessions including: audience identification and targeting, managing course schedule and managing materials, localizing communications, working with business contacts to secure a location, ensuring adequate audio/visual resources, maintaining and summarizing evaluations of training sessions.
  • Ensure facilitators are well prepared to deliver training by coordinating and supporting train-the-trainer activities.
  • Track key data on in-person training sessions including list of attendees, presenters, and topics.
  • Generate periodic reports and additional regional/local training metrics, including evaluations.
  • Conduct analysis of metrics data across region, present outcomes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Contribute to and curate training library.
  • Partner with matrix of LD subject matter experts to design or customize educational materials and programs (live and virtual live), based on regional/business needs.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is REQUIRED.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a training/teaching role is REQUIRED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting training administrative/management activities including communications, logistics and/or event planning, completion tracking and reporting is REQUIRED.
  • Experience in designing and developing learning materials is REQUIRED.
  • Strong organizational skills are REQUIRED.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills are REQUIRED.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and think critically is REQUIRED.
  • Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills are REQUIRED.
  • Experience training in live and/or virtual platforms is REQUIRED.
  • Experience managing training delivery via eLearning is PREFERRED.
  • Master's Degree in education, organizational design, instructional design or related field is PREFERRED.
  • Experience creating assessments is PREFERRED.
  • Experience with competency-based curricula design and the application of adult learning theory is PREFERRED.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or similar healthcare industry is PREFERRED.
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts and/or training facilitators in a consultative role is PREFERRED.
  • Familiarity with conducting needs analysis is PREFERRED.
  • Exposure to developing training content in healthcare, legal or compliance fields is PREFERRED.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) and virtual classroom technologies experience is PREFERRED.
  • Experience leading in a multi-national environment is PREFERRED.
  • Cross-functional or cross-entity experience is PREFERRED.
  • Experience with multimedia instruction is PREFERRED.
