QA Specialist I will report to and take direction from Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance. QA Specialist I will learn Prolongs methods and processes and ensure the product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Assists and supports the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, and monitoring to established quality assurance processes and standards for manufacturing, Quality Control and Research and Development.
• Create, revise and review Standard Operating Procedures for all departments. Maintains and updates SOP documentation including revision tables of contents and assigning SOP numbers.
• Performs evaluation of internal controls, communications, and maintenance of documentation as related to compliance with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Identifies risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments/business units.
• Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures. May perform audits and risk assessments.
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions to identify areas for improvement.
Education and/or Experience
Typically requires a University degree and with up to 2 years of related experience. Without a degree a minimum of 6 years of related experience is preferred.
