Description:

Supports the logistics team in managing customer orders from receiving to invoicing.
Participates in purchasing, inventory control and material management.

Specific tasks:
- Process incoming orders, clarify incomplete orders and confirm orders
- Create job tickets to initiate the manufacturing of ordered items
- Order materials as necessary
- Monitor lead times and communicate with manufacturing team about production status
- Organize shipments to customers
- Resolve issues in cooperation with customer, keep customer updated about status and expected delivery
- Track open orders and initiate appropriate actions in case of delays or other issues
- Create reports as requested

Strong communication skills required as this position interacts with customers, suppliers and the manufacturing team.

Mandantory required skills:

- Working experience with SAP SD/MM modules

- Working experience in logistics / procurement / material management
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel and Word

1-2 years experience
No special requirements for education outside of minimum requirements of HS diploma or equivalent
