Local Job Title: Communications Marketing Analyst

This role is responsible for owning all aspects of email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has a data focused, solutions-oriented mindset, a passionate interest for understanding the user journey, and hands-on experience with email marketing.

What You Will Do:
• Manage campaign calendar and communicate with internal stakeholders regarding timing, scope, and costs
• Develop and implement new marketing campaigns to our existing customer base, from conception to execution and iteration
• Set up and manage program KPIs by designing and implementing comprehensive, measurable A/B and multivariate testing plans
• Develop and maintain automated-lifecycle communication flows
• Set up partitioned segments for transactional vs. promotional communications
• Manage email list data capture and segmentation needs
• Recommend and implement new initiatives to improve performance and responsiveness
• Gather requirements and develop briefs for new marketing campaigns
• Partner with internal communications team to develop high quality copy/creative and test designs for campaigns
• Propose and implement hypothesis-driven tests, evaluates test and campaign results, and makes and implements recommendations for improvement
• Manage daily-weekly-monthly data-driven analysis and reporting of campaign and overall channel performance, including funnel performance, conversion metrics and segment analysis
• Set up and QA email campaigns within our email service provider (ESP), including audience definition and HTML coding
• Work with Promotions team to manage and maintain all customer databases to ensure accurate list management, segmentation and distribution across all channels
• Work with eCommerce team to set up Google Analytics tracking to capture revenue per email data
• Collaborate with eCommerce team to develop post-send campaign write-ups that include the campaign goals, results, and recommendations or opportunities for optimizing future sends
• Troubleshoot campaign execution and other campaign production issues with ESP
• Tackle special projects that affect the email program as a whole, like deliverability enhancements, template refreshes, and more
• Maintain ongoing content inventory of active promotions in internal promotions database used by Sales team
• Distribute ad-hoc individual communications to customers as needed and requested by internal stakeholders
• Work with Sales teams to maintain percentage of active accounts with a valid email address over the desired threshold percentage
• Assist Events team with tradeshow coordination initiatives
• Provide backup support on several Marketing initiatives such as fax blasts, sales support and monitoring internal team mailbox
• Provide additional support to Marketing team as needed

What You Will Need To Have:
• 5 years of marketing experience, preferably 3 years with in email marketing
• Bachelor degree required; Master's degree a plus
• Experience with marketing automation programs
• Strong knowledge of at least one top-tier email service provider
• Working knowledge of HTML required
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, and email QA tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid
• Excel required, SQL preferred. Strong understanding of quantitative data analysis and a solutions-oriented mindset strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques
