Instrumentation/Calibration Technician

.The client is looking for candidates with 7+ years of calibration experience and strong GMP experience.
Job Description :-

Provide all calibrations on instrumentation or equipment throughout the site on all cGMP, cGLP, cGEP Utilities, Process and Analytical related equipment. This person is also capable of performing all initial calibrations, developing reports, SOP's, and procedures for those activities as requested. Responsible for keeping instruments/standards within appropriate levels.
  • Maintain documentation and utilize a CMMS for all maintenance/calibration activities.
  • Perform emergency and corrective repairs.
  • Perform all routine, non-routine calibrations and initial calibrations to keep the equipment/instruments in good working condition with efficiency and accuracy.
  • new installation or system modifications for all equipment and instrumentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested and complete them in a timely and detailed manner.
  • Work as a team member to provide training or guidance to other members of the Calibration group/department.
  • Stock Room work, from ordering to location assignment (Instruments/Standards/Devices)
  • May also perform other duties as assigned
  • Education/Certification/Experience:
    Associates degree and/or vocational/specialized training required; minimum five (5) years as a technician with a specialty in instrumentation or previous work history with calibration or instrumentation background, preferably within a pharmaceutical or similar industry.

    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide timely feedback to Management and customers regarding work, procedures, schedules, etc.
  • Must understand and apply all concepts, methods, and procedures applicable to the job.
  • Possess and apply the necessary skills and techniques for the job.
  • Able to start and complete most work with minimal intervention or support from others.
  • Previous Calibration experience.
  • Able to develop procedures/guidelines and standards for Calibrations or other Calibration related activities in a manner that can easily be followed.
  • Capable of ordering, replacing parts with minimal delay for stock.
  • Develop new procedures/guidelines for calibrations for new processes and instruments.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and apply written and verbal instruction accurately.
  • High attention to detail.
  • In-depth understanding of facility and manufacturing related equipment.
  • In-depth understanding of on-site equipment and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Follow job procedures and maintain work area in a safe and organized manner.
  • Observes safety rules and is alert with regard to safety of others.
  • Completes work in an appropriate timeframe and works efficiently.
  • Uses downtime constructively.
