Infrastructure Service Now Project Manager



This role supports the Infrastructure Project Management team specifically for the Service Now Project. The IT Project Lead and execution of the Service Now project over the next 6 – 16 months

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
List the activities the role requires on a regular basis. Identify the major end result the position is expected to achieve for each of these activities.
• Accountable for overall success of the Service Now Project
• Work with various Business work streams to clearly identify infrastructure, application and technical requirements
• Maintain IT's strategy and methodology while working with infrastructure SMEs on delivering short term and long term solutions to Business requirements
• The ability to work in a fast paced, end-user focused environment while maintaining a deep level of understanding of the system architecture
• Troubleshoot various application issues including Business process related concerns
• Coordinate and implement data migration processes
• Track monitor and coordinate resolution to risks and issues impacting project deliverables.
• Elevates risks to the program level when appropriate
• Manage cross functional, multinational, multivendor teams for developing and troubleshooting solutions to business requirements
• Ensure project framework is documented to support BAU processes
• Assures timely delivery of relevant information to the vendors
• Assures transparent cooperation between the vendors

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES
What skills and knowledge are required for this job? What type of and how much prior experience is required to do this job?

Experience and Knowledge:
• Extensive experience with the Service NOW implementations is a must
• Experience implementing Change Management, Incident Management, Service Management, Self-help portal, Knowledge database, SLA reporting and Tracking.
- Expertise gathering requirements and translating those into configurations for Service Now
• Experience with release schedules and rollout planning
- Testing, defect tracking, and end user acceptance testing
• Self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience and a desire for professional excellence
• The ability to work in a management capacity and a deep level of understanding of the system architecture
• Previous experience working large complex Infrastructure projects is desirable

Skills:
• Strong Working knowledge of the Service Now is a must, Must be able to clearly explain and translate informaiton to Service now from the legacy system
• Strong leadership and high sense of accountability
• ITIL Certification is a plus - will be doing Project management, some Change management, service requests
• Strong administration and reporting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience with legacy system Remedy would be very helpful but not required

location primarily Glenview but if candidate is local to Client can work few days out of Glenview and the other in Client

Position most likely to be extended further through end of next year
