 Responsible for providing advanced administrative support to the department by supporting the Director Operations Manager of  Placement Services and RN Triage Operations Manager.
Ensures advanced administrative activities provide efficiency and organization to the department. Reports directly to the Director . Assists in the maintenance of statistical reporting. Provides general office support to the  staff. Acts as a liaison between this department and all other departments within System Support Services and the Nursing Department. Screens incoming departmental phone calls and handles issues if possible or directs to appropriate individuals. Maintains Director, Operation Manager and RN Triage Operation Manager's daily schedules insuring that all leadership, conference and committee schedules are recorded along with routine meetings noting date, time, location and individuals involved. Update schedules on e-mail calendars. Responsible for scheduling employees for System Access Education classes and coordinates schedules with employees. Assists with the recruitment process by submitting job requisitions, scheduling interviews and submitting interview evaluations and assisting with orientation schedules. Responsible for setting up appointments for physicals and drug screenings on all new hires. With the approval of the Managers, responsible for approving overtime, purchases and requests for time off. Responsible for communication to and from management staff both inside department and system wide. Communicates with physicians to resolve issues or concerns. Communicates with regarding schedules, time off, coverage, and any other questions or concerns. Communicates with administrative assistants system wide. Responsible to provide ongoing support to the Director. Operations Manager, RN Triage Manager and  Staff. Responsible for management support of special projects, meeting agendas and minutes. The planning involved includes staff education and new hire orientation schedules. Designs reports and forms utilized within the department. Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family experience by optimizing all customer interaction.
