Description:
  • The Consulting IT Analyst performs duties similar to that of a business systems analyst or business analyst. They acts as a liaison between staff who have a business problem and technologists who create automated solutions.
  • The Analyst understands and gathers business needs for complex, multifunctional problems and defines, documents and prioritizes requirements from the business.
  • The Analyst ensures that proposed technology solutions meet project and stakeholder needs.
  • The Analyst is primarily responsible for deriving, documenting and gaining approval for functional requirements and provides a point-of-contact for the communication of business requirements so that they can be translated into technology solutions.
  • Manage the organization and documentation of business requirements to ensure the IT team develops and implements solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Assist in the development of functional, conceptual and logical design specifications.
  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with the business to identify and drive complete requirements.
  • Document requirements and work flow diagrams with focus on process improvements.
  • Assist with the creation of test plans and pre-UAT testing, documenting and tracking issues and ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Oversee change request processes including facilitating meetings with business and technology teams to assist in timely and quality project completion.
  • Document and update documentation for all internal system application and integration projects including user documentation and developer documentation.
  • Provide timely responses to all user requests

Requirements/Certifications:
  • Experience in medical field is a plus
  • Min 6 years experience gathering requirements
  • Must have strong writing skills
  • Must be a self started
  • Strong Analyst skills/experience
