•Conducting in vivo pharmacology experiments for preclinical drug development.
•Evaluation of compounds and other therapeutic modalities and deciphering mode of action in animal models.
•Performing in vivo/ ex vivo assays and models as needed.
•The design, optimization and execution of pharmacology experiments for compound screening, compound mode of action and efficacy in mechanistic and disease models, e.g. acute and chronic autoimmune/inflammatory conditions, and analyses and reporting of experiments.
•BS/ Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmacology/ Immunology/ Biology/Molecular Biology/ Cell Biology is required
•Relevant hands-on experience in academic and/or pharma/biotech environment is required.
•An ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced research environment is preferred.
•Experience in conducting in vivo preclinical pharmacology studies, dosing, anesthesia, collection of biological specimen, and ex vivo cellular analysis, including cell isolation and flow cytometry analysis is required.
•Experience in developing and validating in vitro/ex vivo end points using literature and/or internal information and trouble shoot/establish methodologies is required.
•Data collection, data analyses using statistical principles and knowledge of analytical software such as GraphPad Prism and communication with stake holders is required.
•No travel required.
