Manufacturing Technician- Substrates (2nd and 3rd shift)

Primary responsibilities include:

Perform manufacturing activities:
1. Material handling – refilling supplies, checking out/in pastes, paste measurement
2. Retrieve items from the Axapta pickling list
3. Performing thickness measurements, screen measurements, viscosity measurements
4. Mixing pastes
5. Perform all activities in accordance with GMP/QSR requirements and established safety procedures.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma with a minimum of one to three years' experience in a production environment.
• Experience at a medical device assembly firm preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Must not have any chemical allergies, and must be willing and able to work with and around chemicals and solvents.
• Assembly areas may contain adhesives, solvents, and chemical processes.
• Must be willing and able to conform to clean room practices with regard to apparel and personal hygiene.

This person MUST HAVE THE Following experience to be considered:
• Must have experience with Final Testing Inspection (NOT QC, it's not the same thing)
• Experience using a microscope and experience silk screen printing.
• A minimum of 2 years or more (recent) of assembly experience in a corporate regulated environment like Medical Device or Aerospace
• Good Tenure – No job hoppers or huge gaps in the experience
• BASIC EXCEL – Must know the basic functions of excel
• Must pass the background requirements (pre-qualify these) minimum high school/ GED required
• MUST BE ABLE TO READ/WRITE/SPEAK ENGLISH

****TRAINING SCHEDULE******: This position is a 2nd Shift M- F, 2:00PM – 10:00PM (Saturdays may be required) opportunity. However, for the first 3 months the candidate must be flexible to work 1st shift, 5:00AM – 2:30PM M-F (Saturday OT, required as needed for loading). This is due to training coordination.
