Responsibilities



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, as assigned.
Run various monthly reports used to reconcile or analyze general ledger account balances.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and internal controls over financial reporting.
Reconcile inter-company financial transactions with other group companies to the general ledger account balances.
Communicate with other teams within the site and assist in their reporting needs, including the Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Shipping/Receiving departments.
Assist in the annual plant physical inventory count.
Perform other duties as assigned.

8 – 5 with hour lunch break, but there is some flexibility if candidate would like to come in a little earlier (or later, but must start by 9); or if candidate wants to do 8 – 4:30 with half hour lunch break that is okay


Requirements

Education

An undergraduate degree or associates degree in accounting is preferred. Equivalent work experience in lieu of degree will be considered.


Experience and Skills



Zero to three years' experience in a manufacturing and/or public accounting environment.
Good planning and communication skills are required.
Strong computer and Excel skills are required.
Experience with a fully integrated ERP system (Oracle, SAP) is desirable.
This individual must be detail-oriented and show ability to investigate and resolve problems.
